Friendly, welcoming, fun and a home from home is how we want Preschool to feel when you and your child walk through our doors. Our highly qualified, close-knit team, are committed to caring for and educating the very youngest children in our community and it is a job we all love! Our passion is child-led learning with a real love of the outdoors. When you come to visit us, you will see that we are extremely fortunate to have large gardens with free flow access allowing us to be outside throughout the year and in all weathers.

Our aim is to provide the children in our care with an education that looks at them as a whole. With a focus on the Prime Areas of learning in Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication and Language and Physical development, we can ensure the children have a firm foundation on which they can build ready for their eventual transition to school. Our links with Great Doddington Primary School are very close and we have an excellent transition schedule with them, preparing those going to school ‘next door’ with outstanding opportunities to meet their new teachers and get to know the school and the classroom that they will be moving to.All of our staff are highly qualified with no-one below a Level 3 in Childcare and Early Education and 2 qualified teachers with experience of working in Reception and Key Stage 1 classrooms as well as in the Early Years, We all take part in regular continual professional development including: Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene to name a few, which ensures our knowledge is current and accurate. We offer funded places for children from the half term they turn 2 years 6 months-4 years old (2 year olds subject to eligibility) including 30 hour funding for 3 and 4 year olds who are entitled. We run as a charity managed by a committee made up of local volunteers.
